Return & Refund Policy

At Utkal Weaves, every saree is crafted with care using authentic Sambalpuri handloom fabrics. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, we maintain a strict return and refund policy.

Non-Returnable Products

All products sold by Utkal Weaves are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

Change of mind.
Incorrect size or personal preference.
Minor colour variations due to screen or device settings.
Natural variations in weave, texture, motifs, or measurements inherent to handcrafted handloom products.
Patchwork design, stitching variations, or fabric panel arrangement in Patchwork Sambalpuri Handloom Sarees.
Orders refused at the time of delivery.

Eligible Returns & Replacements

A return or replacement will only be considered if:

You receive a wrong product, or
You receive a damaged product during transit.

Mandatory Claim Requirements

To be eligible for a replacement or refund, you must:

Report the issue within 24 hours of delivery.
Provide your Order ID.
Submit a continuous, unedited unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened.
Ensure the video clearly shows:
- The unopened package with the shipping label visible.
- The complete unboxing process without any cuts, pauses, or edits.
- The damaged or incorrect product received.

Invalid Claims

Claims will not be accepted if:

Reported after 24 hours of delivery.
A continuous unboxing video is not provided.
The video is edited, incomplete, or does not clearly show the issue.
The product has been used, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
The claim relates to normal handcrafted variations or patchwork construction.

Refund Process

If your claim is approved:

A replacement will be provided where the product is available.
If a replacement is unavailable, a refund will be processed to the original payment method.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 5–7 business days after verification. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.

Right to Reject Claims

Utkal Weaves reserves the right to reject any return, replacement, or refund request that does not comply with this policy or is found to be false, misleading, fraudulent, or unsupported by the required evidence.
